up's and down's

well well well
alot has happened since i popped!
ozzy is now 3 months old and the time seems to have flown by!
the girls are now 14 months old and can walk yet choose not to haha!
cameron has been at school for 4 months now and life is rather fun. stressful but fun. Dave and i have been finding it hard to make time for one another so we're working on that. 3 kids in less than a year does that to you i guess, but we're trying to find the balance between house work, looking after kids and making time to remind each other why we said "i do" in the first place.
these past few months have been the hardest months of my life, between the fights and the tears and the laughter and generally the emotional journey we have set ourselves up for, but when it boils down to it at the end of the day the things that we argue about and the things we dislike are really nothing more to do with a mix of exhaustion and hormones.
how does everyone else manage to make time for their other half when life is so full with work or kids or school? some advice would be nice. it's not even that we dont get on it often feels as if we just live in the same house there doesnt seem to be much between nappies and feeding kids and doing the school run, we all just feel so tired. and to top it all off dave has been fighting with his mental health yet again, some people seem to have been trying to push him to breaking point thus being why so many people have been evicted from his life, living with someone who suffers from depression isn't an easy thing, i recall thinking it was a choice and that people who were unhappy should just pull themselves together and stop wasting time wollowing in self pitty, i now realize just how wrong i was. we had only just got back to normal after having the twins before ozzy was born and dave tends to fall apart for months after watching me give birth and not being able to stop the pain im in then somehow manages to turn it on himself to make him feel guilty for putting me through it. and there seems to be no reasoning with his twisted logic!
that probably sounded rantie, but its not i just think that despite it all i'd still say "i do" he's the one i picked and im happy with my choice i just dont know how to help him to feel better about everything. we have 4 beautiful children, we have cameron who is the most funny kid i've ever known he's amazing, we have daisy who is the fastest crawler i've ever come across who is also very funny, willow the growler shes skinny but mean she's fantastic and there is ozzy who is super cute and looks like a tree frog. we have an amazing family and im so glad im so lucky to have so many wonderful children and also wendy my big sister who lives with us the extra hands are so welcome! and she's really funny even if cambi doesnt agree! hehee.
anyways im going to post some pictures of recent months gone by to keep you up to dave with changes!

Great to see pics, I think it has to take a bit of a superwoman to look after 4 wee yins! I can't wait to see them, I can't believe how big cameron- the chef is.

I tried to call you and I couldn't get any answer, but I guess I'll see ya soon!

My advice would be to take time out for eachother and do something together just the two of you. And, accept the help people are trying to give you. Everyone wants you to be happy and that's why they offer.

Once all the kiddies are in bed, between feeding for Ozzy, you two should have a romantic dinner, just the two of you. Cook his favorite thing and eat by candle light. Or have your sister stay home with the kids after you put them to bed and the two of you go for a walk. OR! My favorite is whan the kids are in bed get a movie and a treat and watch it in bed! I hope things get better for you guys.

I remember when all the kids were small sometimes I would think " I didn't know I signed up for this!" It is a lot of work but sometimes we would do what the Atkins said and watch a movie alone with a treat. The kids still remember us making them go to bed so Mark and I could play Dr. Mario together. Sometimes we played longer than we should have! I have a friend who had a TV and DVD player in her room and they would have a family member watch the kids while she and her husband had a nice dinner and watched a movie in their room on a "date". It does get better. It's always hard when you are tired and taking care of everyone but yourself.
