the twins are here!

Well well well, im finally out of hospital as are willow and daisy, but before i rant about how pleased i am to have them home i'd like to begin by telling you all how silly midwives are!... i went into hospital on the monday morning after the sunday i posted the yummy chicken post, so two weeks ago i went into labour on tuesday having contractions all day starting at every seven minutes then every six then by eleven o'clock at night when they were every three the decided to put me on the moniter as they had been telling me i was just having cramps all day...the moniter said otherwise as did my tears....i know how cramps feel they utterly suck but they dont make me cry! anyways then after that i had to wait until half past 12 for the doctors to come see if i was in labour...i already knew but the midwives were not so sure, so the doctor came and backed up what i'd been saying all day....then they left me again until half past one with no pain killers or anything just some icy water woooo! anyways i went down to labour suite and got hooked up with gas and air and had a couple of kids 6 hours later....
anyways they are home now after a week of intensive care a few days of special care and another few days of transitional care...and 1 sleep in montrose infirmary and now we are home so im very happy cameron is loving being a big brother we gave the babies their first bath today and he was a great helper! anyways enough of typing im going to upload photos!

yum yum yum you should give this a try!

so today is sunday....aka real dinner day!

my mum asked me what i fancied for dinner while we were in tescos yesterday and i picked stuffed chicken because i hadnt had it for sooo long, anyways that's what we had and i had actually forgotten how much i totally love it! so heres your chance to love it too.

First of all your going to need your ingredients.
4 chicken breasts
3 basil leaves
1 had a half tubs of philladelphia cream cheese
jar of sun dried tomotoes
8 rashers of bacon (smoked is best)
get a sandwich bag and put a chicken breast inside it, then using a meant tenderiser or rolling pin beat it until its as flat as you can get it without it falling apart.
do this to all your chicken breasts.
then get a medium bowl and chop your basil leaves tiny tiny small into it.
followed by your sun dried tomatoes chop them but keep them chunky enough to be able to have the texture its nice.
after that put in your cream cheese and whip it up until the cheese is nice and soft and your tomatoes and basil and through it all.
spoom a large spoonfull into the middle of your chicken breast then roll it tightly, once you've done that wrap it in bacon and put it on a tray.
pop them in the oven at gas mark 5 or 375'F for about 45 to 55 mins until bacon is crisp and chicken is cooked through....it depends how fat your chicken is.
then enjoy it!
its best with mashed potatoes, roast potatoes, sweet corn and Brussels sprouts!!
give it a go!

Play Day

well well well, today i decided to agree to go out and play in the canoe with my husband and my dad and cameron mainly because dave, cameron and i dont tend to get to do a lot of things together anymore, me being uber pregnant and not the fastest mover at the moment. we had great fun it was so cool being able to do something as a family that didnt include walking and me being in pain (happy faces)

cameron was a bit unsure to start with but soon settled into the whole thing and seemed to feel the need to rock the boat from side to side a whole lot...scarey! while i was plonked in the middle of the canoe like a buddha in order to keep it steady a job that im pretty pleased with as i just had to sit and eat pringles and not move too much FANTASTIC! also the whole time we were out montrose infirmary was in sight so if i had gone into labour we were sorted, what more could you what huh?! all in all my morning was totally great and too make it even better i have £170 of surprise money in my bank....life is good!

dave is going on his little surf trip tonight instead of last night which is better as i've had more time to buy food for him and make sure he'll be ok...im an ace wife!

so happy thoughts everyone today is a good day wooooop!

heart b x (the b being for beki not buddha)
P.s this morning we went on a drive up at usan mains and the hay bails were all sitting looking pretty so i took a photo....so there you go you can admire my photo taking skills! woooop!

a family that wears slippers...is a family with warm feet!

So today is totally utterly freezing...I HATE WINTER TIME! it seems that summer never really started in scotland this year, i mean there was days of sunshine don't get me wrong but never proper "wow today is sooo hot i think i need to wear sunblock" days, and now once again its wintery and the mornings are all frosty and cold and they sky looks heavy and i dont like it. (keeping in mind what i've just said) My husband is going on his first and last surf trip of the year winter makes for big waves you see...and i find myself feeling the need to pack him food and jumpers and hand warming packs as if he were a child.

Anyways due to the cold weather cameron and i bought slippers...cam's being far far cooler than mine but they didnt have his ones in my size strangely enough.

oh before i forget cameron ate fruit today but only so he could get his picture on my blog so wooo for cameron he even tried the kiwi...(he was not impressed by it haha)

anyways scotland may be cold but my family has slippers and our feet are warm so all is well!

my belly is going to take over the world!

well im 32 weeks pregnant with what is believed to be twin girls but the non matching kind.

So as my sister pointed out on her blog i have lost my mucus plug...lovely!
Although despite what she said dont return it...i don't want it back its gone....im ok with that if you find it just you keep it!

the twins are about 4lbs each just now so thats pretty good.

i've been reading up on pregnancy and it says at 32 weeks i'll have put on 20lbs with just one baby so i'm wondering is im going to have lost at least 40lbs when i pop?!

Cameron has been building me lego gifts for the last week and they haven't come in handy at all until now today he make me a belly stand which he's tried to teach me to use it but i just dont seem to get it but the idea and the thought is the most lovely anyone has had for me yet! My son is the nicest little boy ever even if i do say so myself!
